Give it a timeline
The people that entered into your Spotlight Giveaway are interested in your business. We want to let them know how much that means before it gets too late. I recommend sending a message out to your other entries as soon as possible, ideally, the week after your Spotlight Giveaway.
I also recommend giving the special (consolation prize) you offer a deadline to make it easy to keep track of. Including something like “Good for the next two weeks” is perfect.
Consolation Prize Message Example
You can use the message below and just fill in your information or create something on your own. Either way, I highly encourage you to reach out to these people and show your appreciation to them.

The consolation prize includes [insert details about the prize such as a discount code or a free item]. I hope that you’ll take advantage of this offer and continue to support our local business.
If you’re interested in claiming your consolation prize, please reply to this message or visit our business at [insert address or website link] and use the promo code [insert promo code] at checkout.
