Supporting Veterans in Their Time of Need
Great Lakes Bay Veterans Coalition is dedicated to providing a wide range of services to veterans and their families. We believe that every veteran deserves to be honored and respected for their service, and we are committed to helping them in any way we can.
We work hard to provide things such as:
- Cleaning headstones
- Flag presentation at sporting events
- House repairs for veterans and their families
- And much more
Operation Fill The Trailer
We are dedicated to supporting veterans in the Great Lakes Bay Region, and one of the ways we do this is through our “Operation Fill The Trailer” program. This program relies on the generosity of local businesses and individuals to provide non-perishable goods, personal hygiene items, and other essential items to veterans at the VA Hospital.
Donations: We accept donations of hygiene products, clothing, and other essentials. We also accept monetary donations. These donations will be used to purchase items that are in high demand at the VA Hospital.
Distribution: Once we have collected the donations, we will sort and organize them into care packages. Our team of volunteers will then deliver these packages to the VA Hospital, where they will be distributed to veterans in need.
The support of the local community is critical to the success of Operation Fill The Trailer. With your help, we can ensure that veterans in the Great Lakes Bay Region have access to the essential items they need to live a comfortable and dignified life.
Join Our Community
Become a Member: Our organization is committed to supporting service members, veterans, and their families in the Great Lakes Bay Region. And we believe that the most effective way to do this is by working together as a community. That’s why we invite you to become a member of our organization by simply joining us on a project and supporting our mission.
Participate in a Project: Membership is easy, all you have to do is participate in one of our projects. We have a wide range of projects, from cemetery and grave stone cleaning, home repairs, food and hygiene item drives, and more. By participating in one of these projects, you will be making a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of veterans in our community.
Partner with us: We also offer a partnership program for local businesses and organizations. By becoming a partner, you will be able to identify all the veterans in your organization and create a distribution list or some sort of method to communicate to them. In addition, you will provide the Coalition with two emails so that we can send a list of upcoming projects once per month, and provide that list of projects to your veterans.
By becoming a member or a partner, you will be joining a community of individuals and organizations who are committed to supporting veterans and their families in the Great Lakes Bay Region. Together, we can make a real and lasting difference in the lives of veterans in our community.
